The question at the heart of this election – and at the heart of our country – is whether this will be a place where a handful of wealthy, white men rule over the rest of us or a place where we repair long-standing inequalities and make freedom real for all, no exceptions.

The Maga faction is using an old playbook of laws, lies, and violence to silence Black, brown, and young voters, overthrow the will of the people, and lock in white supremacy for another generation. We can’t let them grab more power.

At similar points in our history, our ancestors in the abolitionist, labor, and civil rights movements came together and wielded their power over leaders at the ballot box, in the workplace, and in the streets.

They knew they had to use every opportunity and pull multiple levers to unlock the people, narrative and political power they needed to reshape our country for the better. Voting is one tool in our toolbox to set the foundation for what we can organize, strike, and protest.

That’s why young people have been taking action to expose and defy MAGA’s Jim Crow anti-voter strategy to decide our futures for us and are using the power of our votes to shape what’s politically possible.
