I haven't been writing much at all, so I wanted to try this National Poetry Month write-a-poem-a-day thing.

I had to write a few poems for children (I'm teaching a seventh-grade class next week), so here's my NaPoWriMo for today:

'non-human persona poem' and 'instructions poem'

I've been pretty shy about promoting it, but this book is the greatest thing I've ever done. All it needs now are eyes.

HAPPENING NOW: Police are at University of New Hampshire (UNH) destroying tents and arresting students within an hour of the encampment launch.

UCLA faculty are in the encampment, prepared to be arrested in order to protect students.
