Pains me sm that azula is CANONICALLY scared of ozai and aware that she was groomed and ppl still treat as if she wasn’t abused

I strongly believe that part of her crying hysterically at the end was just pure fear of what Ozai would do to her when he came back victorious and found out she lost the capital. Zuko got branded for far less.

Note she describes it as Ozai attacking Zuko, not a duel or even a punishment. She’s both more empathetic and more honest than anyone gives her credit for.
