I've seen a number of articles that say unions can't prevent or stop layoffs and I want to let you all know that's not true at all. There's a long history of workers in unions fighting back against layoffs, even in the games industry! 1/

Just in time for the new year, our boiler was acting up so we had someone out here to inspect it and he had to deem it a safety hazard and shut it down. So now we're scrambling to find a place that installs boilers during the holidays so we can have heat! Good times.
