All I can think of hearing “Yellow” by Coldplay in Bridgerton was that ale💌she’s my everything, my penelope must be over the moon. And I had flashbacks to playing that at weddings with string quartets in the past.

Finished the most recent season of Bridgerton. Love the development of Whistledown’s Theme as well as the new Polin theme. Can’t wait to start listening to the soundtrack by Kris Bowers on a regular basis.

Absolutely crushed to hear about the passing of Donald Sutherland—one of my favorite actors. His portrayal of Mr. Bennet is such a joyful, quiet, and heartfelt performance. When he tearfully smiles and says, “You really do love him, don’t you?” I always smile. He will be missed.

I got to see the American premiere of the musical “Lord of the Rings” last night. The sets were impressively done, the actors played musical instruments on stage, and the story worked over all. Tom Amandes (Felicity Smoak’s Dad in Arrow) was Gandalf which just hurt my brain.

I love watching the Olympics. Watching the women’s gymnastics is a whole another level. So exciting!

Had a delightful trip in Maine followed by two days of flights delayed and cancelled, four hours in service lines, barely finding a hotel due to a concert in the town, and a place where rental cars are sparse. It truly has been a comedy of errors. Or tragedy. Still not home yet.

Watching the new John Williams documentary on Disney+ just brought me a lot of joy. I highly recommend it!

I just saw Wicked. WOW!! I’ve always loved watching Christopher Scott’s choreography on SYTYCD and I love John Powell’s score with all the themes. That’s not even touching the singing and main leads, the sets and the costumes. So much fun!
