Not only is Cregger awesome for charting his own course, but the "he just slapped RE on a totally unrelated movie" comments are extra pitiful because YOU SAW A TWO MINUTE TRAILER, you have zero idea how it will tie into the rest of the series.

Even the incels know that this is fantastical bullshit. Dude should have known better than to fabricate his suit while taking shrooms during an all-night pornhub session.

If there's one thing I think could be a real issue here, it's what I'm gonna call "Andor Syndrome:" A big studio gives an auteur the opportunity to bring their tonally unique vision to the screen, and the rest of the property suffers by quality comparison.

There is no way this is real. I refuse to believe it. Not this man. Not this lawsuit. Nope. An ego large enough to believe that a suit featuring this man alleging these facts about this woman is believable cannot possibly exist. Or at least, I pray it cannot.

As someone who frequented the TotallyRE message boards in the early-2000's (username Leon Amano), modern day RE fans who complain about this deserve absolutely nothing. Actually, no. They deserve Paul W.S. Anderson.

I still cannot fucking believe he used "cannons" in the lawsuit. I still feel like this is gonna end up with Nathan Fielder showing up to the first hearing where we find out that this was all an episode of The Rehearsal.

All I see here is that Cregger was such a massive fan that he wrote an entire Resident Evil film screenplay without even knowing for certain that they'd get to make a Resident Evil film.
