It’s been an honor to work for you on House Science Committee, Chairwoman Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson
Happiest of birthdays to this House Science Committee Member! We all love when you come geek out at hearings!
Okay y’all this is a huge deal and it was very exciting to witness the leadership of U.S. Department of Energy, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and NNSA announce the news BUT let’s hear it for this panel of National Ignition Facility staff who collectively represent 100s of scientists responsible for making this discovery
Spring cleaning and I find a handful of champagne corks from significant times… wedding, the passing of the Energy Act of 2020, lollll 🥴 think I drank that with Spencer Nelson?
Fun to have Spencer Nelson testify before House Science Committee today on energy things! ⚡️
Every day is fusion day in my job but today really was an officially official fusion day! Thanks to orgs like Fusion Industry Association for convening a fun group of nerds, I enjoyed chatting in the sunshine for a bit ⚛️
The littlest U.S. WIN member at tonight’s meeting. Thanks to Good Energy Collective for bringing together an amazing group of people and to Nuclear Energy Institute for hosting. P’s future is being molded by the discourse we are having today

This is a great development for U.S. Department of Energy & partners working on adv. clean energy solutions. The Energy Act of 2020 authorized this kind of contracting in Dec 2020, around the same time as this Kairos Power award. Kudos to the teams who spent the past few years working on this!
