Mother Nature can shut the taps off any time soon for those of us in central / Western PEI

The heavy rains this week couldn’t keep all of the Beetles away. Lots of activity in our CPB plots this morning!

Not much left of the untreated check in this CPB trial. We are still heavy into counting egg masses, larva, and adults but it gets easier as plants get defoliated or treatments work well!

Was great to have grad students from UPEI out to capture imagery in our Colorado potato beetle trials on the farm. Lots of potential for this system outside of flagging PVY! Thanks Andrew Fraser Charanpreet Singh and team

Potato harvest time at Atlantic AgriTech and first up is rating some scab trials… no question we have some good scab pressure!

Began digging some wireworm trials today. Interrupted feeding for a lot of these little guys!
