The greatest knight who ever lived. William Marshal was an English knight, a man of honor and integrity. A man who served five kings, fought in the crusades, became a Templar and was an undefeated tournament champion. This is the story of the greatest knight, a thread. 🧵

This article about the gamification of our world is well worth a read. It’ll have you looking at your own work/job and other random time-eating habits. gurwinder.blog/p/why-everythi…

If you’re into your miniatures check out this KS for Dwarf minis with a ‘back in the day’ Citadel vibe. I’ve seen posts from Jamie for months as he’s been investing in the sculpts to get this project going. He’s ‘a heart on his sleeve’ good ‘un. kickstarter.com/projects/19710…

Went to Warhammer World today for a demo game of the new AoS and try at the Spearhead format. Great fun, love the Spearhead Format. Can see myself playing that a fair bit. ( Also got a bronze pin for my Fomoroid Crusher in the Legends of Paint thing they do. 🙂 )

I find this one difficult to do. But it’s something I’m trying to remind myself to do when I get lost in my head. It’s as equally valid for hobby related activities (I really dislike cleaning up minis thinking this’ll be fun when…) as it is for ‘life’ related aims and wishes.

Interesting article about Vikings in what is now the midlands, UK. I used to live in Repton and I remember the area was thought to be peripherally associated with Vikings in Britain but it seems there’s an even bigger association than originally thought. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

I've just finished off this Chaos Sorcerer. Possibly my favourite part of the model is the little skull and bone spider on the horses neck.

Old English is the coolest language you’ve never heard of From Beowulf to Lord of the Rings, its influence is legendary — but most people know nothing about it. Here’s a primer on Old English, and an explanation of why we wrote "ye olde" instead of "the old"...

It’s been a long time posting here. But Open Combat is now available in soft back on Amazon using the print on demand service so you should be able to get a copy ‘locally’ (depending on printing house location) whatever country you’re in! So grab it now! amzn.eu/d/5VrNF9y
