Yes!!!! Believe it or not, this has been years in making. I’m looking forward to getting more humps and other traffic calming measures installed on our residential neighborhood streets! 🙌

New mini “advisory” bike lanes have been installed on Railroad Street. These are meant to encourage cyclists to approach multiple rail crossings at a safer angle, and to make motorists more aware of less predictable movements by cyclists 🚲

It’s almost here! Bike facilities on an urban state-owned road had a lot of challenges through planning and design. I’m really excited to see all that work come to fruition. Up next - bike detection downtown as part of the City’s GAP the the Point project in Spring 2020

I put in a 311 request for a bike rack in front of our neighborhood daycare awhile back and it appeared! Thanks Pittsburgh Mobility & Infrastructure ! Hopefully this encourages more parents to bike rather than drive 😁
