Did some updates on my system this evening, mainly to load up the new microcode fixes for Intel, but now the Ethernet port on my mobo that I thought had completely died started to work w/o issue? Despite previous BIOS, chipset, and driver updates failing to do the same???

Fuck, my PC isn’t turning on this morning. Time to do some troubleshooting Yay

Mobo seems to be the root of the issue, but hoping that’s as far as it goes and I don’t have any issues with the storage( NVMe and I don’t have another board to verify status) Fingers crossed the replacement will fix it and I’ll be up and running again

Taking this waiting period of computer death to work on a long form script for a personal video. I was torn on doing something Pokemon related first, but a certain other game has just completely worked itself into my brain and I want to talk about it.

I’ll be at San Japan next week! (Hopefully with less transmission failure compared to Weebcon) Have to be out of town on a business trip Friday, but I plan on being there at least Saturday so if anyone happens to be there I’d love to meet up, even if just for a moment!

Back home from a relatively late notice business trip this week! I was able to knock out a few vids tonight to start catching up on projects again, and heading to San Japan tomorrow. Time for the sleep

Youngest woke up with a fever of 103, so I won’t be going to San Japan because I need to take care of him. Priority is always the boys, and I don’t want to risk spreading illnesses at the con. But man I’m disappointed I’m going to miss yet another San Japan.
