Well surelyMr Corbyn is almost 70 already. Why on earth would he want to stay on anyway? Does he not believe in giving the next generation their chance? Perhaps he doesn't..

What an excellent poster! It so reminds one of a very similar advertisement used by Mrs Thatcher in 1979... Well done to some smart students - Plymouth students, of course.

It's increasingly clear that it's not just Tory MP's who don't like voting for things attached to "Jeremy" (Ah, the cult of personality so popular in socialist societies..). The polls show that the general public's approval of "Jeremy" is in freefall!

Yes, Mr Bradshaw. You may have a point. But the Labour Party has been taken over by hard left zealots - and not only at the local level! I cannot believe you have very much in common with Mr Williamson, Mr Milne, Mr McCluskey. Or indeed Mr Corbyn!

This was a marvellous theatre. Such marvellous pantomimes! I do hope someone can save it. There is so much good happening in the Plymouth cultural scene, surely something can be done..

A good point, well made. The country desperately needs a real opposition. Not an unelectable one dominated by the dregs of the 1980's Militant Tendency. Which appears determined to midwife a Brexit which will cripple the opportunities of generations to come. Good luck Mr Watson

UK vs IRL editors of @thesundaytimes Same bylines, same Brexit reporting, wildly different spin. (The first line of the Irish version, notably, points out that the ERG demands are way beyond what EU negotiators will countenance.)

The deal we currently have is infinitely better than any of the alternatives on view. You know that. Why don't you want your constituents to have their say now that the Leave campaign promises have been exposed as opportunistic lies?

It's hard to disagree with Professor Bueltmann's analysis. Except I'm not convinced that Mr Milne's preferred means of communicating his views to Mr Corbyn is via whispering in his ear. And he also has back up from the (also unelected) Messrs McCluskey and Murray.

Labour's stated enthusiasm for a referendum is entirely synthetic. They crave a Brexit - one they feel they can blame others for when it reveals itself as a catastrophe. They claim a People's Vote is "on the table". Well War & Peace has been on my table for many years now!

It's all very well grumbling about the Conservative government (it's not one of the best, I agree). But Labour is hardly covering itself with glory, what with anti-semitism, and a feeble performance on the most important issue of all, Brexit.
