No one is above mistake but in negotiating a matter as important as marriage, it has to be done with almost 100% composure. Even pretenders would strive to attain this to deceive their victims. There is no room for gambling on it.

It is dangerous to ignore some red flags while negotiating a marriage. Any red flag that has to do with unnecessary harshness over little issues or arrogance in expression or gesture should never be trivialized. May Allāh protect our children from falling in the wrong hands.

If we fail to check the narrative of making women look like men's property, it will later haunt us because we also have sisters and daughters. Some even have mothers that have been maltreated through what I call unislamic patriarchy.

It is unsunnatuc to belittle women. Some people don't realize this until they begin to give their own daughters too out in marriage. The middle cause is the best. Women should be respected but at the same time, their intolerable nushūz should be addressed with firmness.

Anal sex is a grievous sin. Allāh has made a lot of things to be permissible in marital sex. Therefore, a Muslim does not have any excuse to delve into the prohibited things.

One needs to be used to become useful. This is the secret behind internship and tutelage. Many want to bypass mentorship on the ladder to success. It is not easy.

I have been working on this book since 2022. It is to complement Halāl Intimacy that was published in 2020. It emanates from discussions we had on Halāl Intimacy in the Mawaddah Platforms and my interactions with couples facing sexual related challenges in their relationships.

Apart from the foundational topics, the book contains three (3) other parts: 1. Contemporary issues on marital intimacy 2. Preventing the problem of sexual incompatibility and how couples already facing it can tackle it. 3. Seductive tips for a sustainable marital intimacy

The book deals with sharī'ah rulings on several matters relating to intimacy, seduction, love, romance, fantasies, virginity, self-stimulation, sextoy, dressing, hygiene, fragrance, jewelry; hair-care, piercing, creative expressions etc.

The word "garment" is drawn from Qur'ān 2: Verse 187 where Allāh said "they are garment for you and you are a garment for them", while the word "compassion" is picked from Qur'ān 30: Verse 21 where Allāh mentioned "rahmah" (compassion) as one of the main purposes of marriage.
