That’s a wrap! I was honored to lead US Department of the Interior’s delegation to #COP28 where we met with partners from across the world and showcased the United States’ all-of-government efforts to tackle the climate crisis.
There were many stars and good spirits at this year’s The White House Christmas Tree Lighting in President’s Park, with both Secretary Deb Haaland and National Park Service on hand to help ring in the season. If you missed it in-person, be sure to tune in on December 15th.

Nature is essential to every community. In 2023, US Department of the Interior worked to expand access to and conserve the nation’s national parks, wildlife refuges, recreation lands, and other outdoor spaces with help from historic funding through President Biden’ Investing in America agenda.
I was so moved by the warmth of Fisk University’s students and staff. Historically Black Colleges and Universities like Fisk are helping advance our country’s future while preserving its history. The National Park Service is investing in telling the most complete story of America.
