A powerful speech from Tom Tugendhat, which also gave reference to the struggle of Canadian Roger Foley: "When that first 18, 19 year old...goes and asks for this [assisted suicide], it will be we who made that decision, it will be on our consciences...".

Roger Foley is being told that he should die because a London, ON hospital does not see him as worthy enough to be provided his basic needs. In fact, to them he is not valuable, a drain on resources, as they remind him of the dollar value of his care. We must put an end to this.
