A little math and DPA... arm angles!!

We had an angle scavenger hunt today, finding examples of acute, obtuse, right, and straight angles in our classroom!

We worked on organizing main ideas and supporting evidence/facts today using an amazing read aloud text about Katherine Johnson (thanks Ms. Deboer!) and our science article “Canada’s Gemstones.”

World Autism Awareness Day - On April 2nd, we recognize and celebrate World Autism Awareness Day. World Autism Awareness Day was established in 2007 to raise awareness and to celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of those individuals living with autism.

Here's the "buzz" for April!

We explored the concept of elapsed time by planning a day at an amusement park! Then, we brainstormed ideas for an announcement writing activity with the purpose of attracting an audience to the park!

Please see this important letter for families and staff from Director of Education, Sean Monteith. A paper copy is being sent home with all youngest/only children in each family this afternoon and an automated message from the Education Centre is expected to follow this evening.

As confirmed in Premier Ford's announcement today, HPEDSB schools will be open to students and staff for in-person learning on Tuesday, April 6. Please be sure to bring any resources taken home over the weekend back to school on Tuesday.
