Rest In Peace, Officer James Muhlbauer and K-9 Officer Champ.   The partners were killed in the line of duty Wednesday night when a vehicle crashed into them while they were on patrol.   Muhlbauer was a 20-year veteran of KCPD, while K-9 Champ was with us for one year.   1/2

A public visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. the funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:30 a.m. after the service Full Honors will be presented on 13th St. in front of the auditorium. There will be an Honor Guard on 13th St. There will be no graveside services.

NB on Antioch to 64th, EB on 64th turning into Antioch.  ALL vehicles except family and invited guests in the procession will disband upon passing the funeral home for the family to see.  There are no graveside services.
