Just found out I'm fully funded to study Nepali at the University of Washington South Asia Center and Nepal Studies Initiative in July! I've been mildly obsessed with learning about the Himalayan states for a while and am so excited 💙♥️🤍

Was able to officially monetize my blog the other day, which is so exciting!

I take about six month off from submitting each year and it always is such a relief to reenter that mindset and just write 💙

So excited to officially announce I won a Fulbright for creative writing/poetry! I will be living in Kolkata, India, creating documentary & ethnographic poetry on climate change and India's Chinatowns.

Some more fun news lately: I won a Boren Fellowship! My university put out this article calling me a "Triple Crown" winner. All were won writing about poetry & the significance of literature. Can't wait to be off writing poems in Korea & India. towson.edu/news/2024/ashl…
