Is this an appropriate way to address tenants? This is a text from my friend’s landlord after they asked them to leave. My friend vacated his apt with his partner 2 weeks earlier than they needed to and this is the response they get - not to mention it was left in perf condition

Landlord harassment is a serious problem. Not only do tenants have to jump through hoops to rent, but have to potentially face being verbally harassed - the LTB needs more adjudicators to hold these terrible people accountable.

This kills me… the CERB checks weren’t given out to perpetuate a msg that young ppl don’t need/want to work but to SUPPORT ppl who had to reduce hours or pause jobs due to COVID to allow them to continue to pay rent, buy food and pay tuition.
