Two weeks to go before the kick-off meeting of the ASFModChallenge challenge at SVEPM 2023! Despite the global public health crisis, the meeting is still going on. Remote attendance will be possible for those who can't join.

Finally! The #ASF Modelling Challenge has started! We are really excited. Nine teams from all over the world will play with the ASF epidemic data from Merry Island to unravel transmission patterns and support animal health policy in (almost) real time. Now let's have fun!😁

The ASFModChallenge challenge is progressing well! We just received the predictions for Period 1 of the #ASF epidemic and released the new data corresponding to Period 2. Will the fences be effective? Which control options could be implemented in synergy? Good luck modelling teams! 🤘
