james and regulus just got back from a concert and james’ head hurts so bad because of the noise and the lights and the loud music but regulus is stroking his hair softly and kissing his temples while humming a lullaby so he considers it a big win

james' hand twitches when regulus passes right beside him at the hallways, iching for just a little touch.

sirius can’t tell if he’s actually happy or just a really good actor. he’s been pretending for so long he can’t tell the difference anymore. is he convincing himself now, too? or are his feelings genuine? he’s not sure.
