We give thanks for all who have served. We are especially grateful for our Assisting Priest, Fr. Stuart Kenworthy, who served as an Army National Guard chaplain. “Defend them day by day with your heavenly grace…” (BCP) #VeteransDay #EpiscopalChurch #AscensionAndStAgnes

O God, who by the leading of a star didst manifest thine only-begotten Son to the peoples of the earth: Lead us, who know thee now by faith, to thy presence, where we may behold thy glory face to face

We're honored that so many of our parishioners, like these three dedicated flamingos, are willing to brave bad weather to come and worship with us!

How does death touch you? What is the "Art of Dying?" And how does Christ's transformation of death affect how we live? After Mass on Sunday, we were blessed to gather in the undercroft to discuss these questions over coffee in the latest entry of our Adult Formation Series.

Nothing worth having in life is easy, and the views from this year's parish hike were worth the effort. We spend a lot of time surrounded by a world made of metal and concrete, but God's creation is far more magnificent than anything human hands could build in a million lifetimes

"One of my favorite parts of working at ASA is the quiet moments alone with Jesus in the tabernacle. It's a constant reminder of why I'm doing this. Recently I came in to work and found the morning light streaming through the stained glass and I had to get some pictures." –Julian

Easter Sunday we had the privilege of welcoming a packed house to praise the Risen Lord. After suppressing our "Alleluias" for Lent, the choir's excellent rendition of Handel's "Alleluia Chorus" was exhilarating. Alleluia. Christ is risen. The Lord is risen indeed. Alleluia!
