Hi Slack 👋 there are large public channels that execs use for important announcements, while I'm usually typing in smaller groups. Could you please let me disable posting in certain channels so I don't embarrass myself by posting a random meme in front of my entire company?

1. The Anthropic ads are hilarious 2. Gotta love the irony of using the priciest ad slot in the world to criticize ads in AI 3. This might not age well this close to IPO. Works for them to say "we don't do ads" because they have so few B2C users. What happens when that changes?

I still remember downloading Uber in 2014, tapping Request Ride and watching a car show up a minute later. It felt like the future. I haven’t had that feeling again until seeing Codex Computer Use move a cursor around last week. It felt like a glimpse of what's next. Go try it!

Unexpected side effect of talking to AI every waking hour: I’ve outsourced spelling. Now about 25% of my texts to people have typos.

I have a Codex agent that watches internal Slack for dogfood announcements, installs the latest feature, and tells me when it’s ready to try. Then I use it and give feedback like a customer would. Customer obsession has officially become recursive

one of the coolest parts of being inside OpenAI is seeing how much genuine optimism there is about AI and the future people debate things openly, push on the hard questions, and still believe deeply in the mission it’s been refreshing to see that up close!

i am loving that there’s now a little pet walking around the bottom right of my screen helping me keep an eye on Codex threads and yes, my rubber duck is currently scheduling my calendar for next week in the background absurd, useful, and very cute! go try /pet now

every time i fly SEA → SFO, i imagine a high-speed rail line running down the west coast seattle, portland, sf, la, san diego feels like it could’ve been one of the great train routes in the world
