Gladiatrix Hoplomachus This is the Greek hoplite as understood and turned into entertainment by the Romans, not much difference as I draw historical themes imo. These stylized arts are not textbooks; in the end, they are meant to entertain you guys!

A little answer to Ironlily Gladiatrix 'Cestus'. 🙂 If we had only one cestus near Hadrian's Wall, there shoul be at least another one somewere. So here's a Rome practitioner to teach some manners, into this Picti country bumbkin.

Horned helmet is cool and also historical, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I also included the unique ‘Kiev/Kyiv’ visored helm for comparison, because original post included ‘gjermundbu’ helm.

One of my followers mentioned that Spartacus was also an Thraex. I think it's like perks unique to a specific class in RPGs or something.

Some ppl have asked me why I don't draw Gladiatrix with open-faced helmet. Well, I like to think it's a feature for Ironlily Gladiatrix, something like recognition element in Ironlily Gladiatrix Ludus (school). While in my case is more like accessories, eg animal skins.
