Happy with the spot but I didn’t do a good job with shooting lanes. Midday sit getting comfortable climbing for the first time this year. Next two days will be my best chance at a deer this year.

Had two doe run by full speed and was hoping a buck was chasing. It was not a buck 😂

8 days out from 3 days of deer hunting. I left the stand in the rain last time I hunted and if the weather report holds I’ll be headed back out in the rain. Hopefully no lightning this time!

Finally got out today. Pushed a lot of deer out of this spot but have never hunted it. Weather isn’t that favorable but hopefully will see some movement at the end of daylight.

Out scouting today. Only saw one deer on public but did see this large group of deer on a neighboring property.

Tons of squirrels so far. Really hoping for some deer activity today. Very foggy right now.

Scared the birds I’ve been pursuing all week off the roost this morning. It’s been a great week in the woods but it’s looking unlikely I come home with a turkey. Learned a lot though.

I’ll be fishing for trout in 12 hours. Is time standing still!

The weather’s been great for my garden this year. Okra really is my only disappointment. Think I will plant some more.

Summited Mount Massive Thursday. My first 14er. Experienced graupel and lightning while on the summit. Quickly made our way down! It was an awesome humbling experience. Gods beauty and power were on full display.

FUCK INSURANCE COMPANIES!! I’ve been quiet about it but my mothers cancer has come back very aggressive stage 4 without treatment she has a few months maybe a year, but UnitedHealthcare is blocking treatment.. it’s 164k a treatment!! Her first treatment was supposed to be tomorrow 🤬🤬🤬
