Mann Made Cinema When I was a "Hotshot" forest service firefighter, they wouldn't let us use water except on the cold side of the fire trail. Those fires that are happening in LA will NOT be controlled by water or more firemen until the wind stops, even then the fires create their own wind.

The amount of people who misunderstand the difference between climate change causing wildfires (basically not a thing) and climate change making existing wildfires worse is staggering. We truly must open the schools.

The difference between die-hard right-wing Republicans and everyone else is this: GOPers threaten to withhold support for LA residents who lost EVERYTHING. Non-voters, centrists, liberals would never do that. Lots of Republican voters lost their homes too. #lafires #LosAngeles
