Interesting! I found this past school year as teacher stress increased our PLC decreased. This sent the message that these times were more of a burden than a way to alleviate stress and burnout. I worry about the impact this will have on PDL mindset this school year! #edlr5402

“Although some data are more helpful than others, the worst type of data is the type that wasn’t collected”. Fred Ende, exactly!! #edlr5402

“Prepare to hear others as much as you except to be heard” Fred Ende what an excellent reminder! This is something that I plan to be more mindful of #edlr5402

The key to providing successful PDL is to make sure that you truly know your audience, learn as much as you lead, and be flexible in your facilitation. Fred Ende #EDLR5402

I just can’t stop thinking about this sentence from Emily Cipriano reflection “A culture and climate of inquiry is one that will be open to making mistakes, learning from challenges, and as I recently learned…will help turn breakdowns into breakthroughs” 🙌🏼 #edlr5402

Before we provide explicit #SEL instruction to our students, we must first be intentional about creating a sense of #belonging & #community within our classrooms & schools. Only then can we begin the important work of nurturing our student's growth and progress. #relationships1st

Still processing our fishbowl discussions! Drew Sellitti I really appreciated your input when you said “doing the work “badly” is not doing it at all”. I absolutely agree #edlr5402

What a powerful reminder! We do this automatically for kids but should also allow for wait time when working with adults also! Fred Ende Eric Bernstein Larry D Lewis did a great job at wait time during #edlr5402

It sure is! I’ve actually been excited to share my new knowledge with colleagues which has turned into some pretty amazing courageous conversations that ultimately helped us realign our goals for this coming school year! #edlr5402

This was a powerful statement and left me wondering how to push for more inclusive PD’s especially ones that focus on the LGBTQ community. #edlr5402

I started working on the Master Schedule! I can’t believe much I have learned so far and how my new lens helped tremendously in this task! I was able to increase instructional time and advocate for PL around effectively facilitating morning circles! #edlr5402
