Some busy but inspirational days rep #Fegga at biodiversity seminar in Paris hosted to perfection by Fédération française de golf and The R&A. So much good we can do in golf with the to biodiversity and it's a relief for once not to talk about pesticide and water restrictions. #FEGGA will do our part.

Comforting to be in a situation where only 1 green need a big renovation and not like in the "back in the day" where all greens needed vertidraining, hollowcoring etc 2/year. Brush attachment on Procore is a only making things easier.

Coring plantains on all greens surrounds. A massive undertaking. All men on deck. 6-8 staff, 2 full days. A weed killer would have taken care of the issue, but not an option here. But is it really that silly when it's October & the grass has almost stopped growing? Am I silly?

Tour de Fungus 2024 on its way. Excellent weather, disease pressure has been high for almost weeks and our Swedish compadre Johan has two bags of lösgodis brought along Micah Woods

Recently, I've seen plenty of "show me your root profile" pics, so here is mine: good healthy profile coming out of winter. App 100yrs old pushup greens, sand/compost mix for 19yrs, with a short pure sand period causing root break. No fungicides since 2011. There is a way 👍

Circular bio-diversity? A deer munching away on clippings from this seasons first verticut on the greens. And thx to the excellent Maredo units the greenkeeper is leaving the lignin heavy fescue behind on the greens and the leggy bents for the deer.
