A3 While the routine is not the same or expected, as sense of routine, of predictability elicits a sense of safety. I need this too and am slowly finding it and if I need it then children need it even more. #TMCTalks

A5. Ours are both adults. For the oldest.... listen and acknowledge fears, no judgement. For the younger, yes he can use my amazon account. #TMCTalks

A6 A normal routine includes a start at the gym. Making a point of finding a video, lengthening the walks with our puppy, getting away from the computer - listen to the fitbit when it says I have all 250 steps to get in in the last ten minutes of the hour!! #TMCTalks

A#2seeking the fit for this week this day, even simply this moment. If the academics fill a need go for it. If play, crafts, snuggles or video games make us feel safe and secure. Why not? This is a moment in time and when we reflect in history I don’t recall report cards #TMCtalks

#TMCTalks As we encounter the barriers to the work we believe in as Self-Reggers, the why (of their reactions and outs) and the what now what next and how, we look with soft eyes of compassion and patience.

#TMCTalks A#5 (another) How will we prepare for the transition back and for any that come along from there? The transition in September is always a challenge. This time our kids have been home for 6 months and many of them will not have been away from their primary caregivers

#TMCTalks While there are not veterans in my extended families (all were/are farmers and so fulfilled a different need) I think of my paternal grandparents who lived through the war in the Netherlands and then immigrated to Canada despite many obstacles. Grateful!

#TMCTalks A#3. Freedom is Self-Reg. Self-Reg practice (the steps) are the means. Freedom from imposed (self)control and freedom to THINK and CHOOSE to BE, to GROW, to SUPPORT, to LOVE, to ACCEPT, to.....
