Liberalism killed 𝐏𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐬. The modern individual owes nothing to anyone—only to his happiness and comfort. There is no sense of duty. Not duty in the Kantian sense—rooted in old tables of values— but duty to the divine, to a cause beyond the self, to our highest hope.
