The goddess was currently staring at people as they wandered by, sitting as still as a statue. …Honestly, her stillness was so effective that people left money in front of this odd, white wolf statue. Not the sort of offering she’s used to, but not one she’ll turn down either.

With a swish of her tail, a recently planted sprout would rapidly grow into a full sized tree. The goddess would take this opportunity to curl up underneath the newfound shade with a yawn. Wielding the power of nature itself can be so exhausting…

The world may have changed dramatically in her absence but some things remain the same. Namely, humans keep trying to pet her, mistaking the goddess for a stray dog.

Lately, Amaterasu has been ushered off of park grass like a common dog. Apparently groundskeepers and gardeners aren’t a fan of flowers and weeds sprouting in her wake, who knew?

The stench of evil still permeates this world, even without Yami’s influence.

Her ears perk up, as does the rest of her once she quickly realizes what that familiar sensation was.
