The South London Hospital for Women & Children (where Louden practiced) took only women and children, and had a female-only staff. It remained this way until its end in 1984, as one of the last hospitals in the UK to do this. It cared for a high volume of Blitz casualties.

Every study ever done has shown equiv outcomes of minority physicians who pass all tests and become board cert. DEI in med is about who gets the limited training slots, and there is a debate there- but everyone who makes it through is equally likely to be a competent physician.
