It's not every day you get to celebrate a 104th birthday, but the Mayor had the privilege of attending the oldest resident's birthday party at Cuffley Manor Care Home. Joan has reached the amazing age of 104. The Mayor had a chance to speak to her and her wonderful family.

I am grateful to Radlett and Aldenham Lunch Club for inviting me to speak about the world of politics recently. We discussed the economy, the UK’s role in the world and the use of AI. It is always good to speak directly to my constituents and be challenged as their local MP.

Well guess where life and work took me today? Only to the very cinema used in the first scene of 1969 classic britcom film Carry On Camping. No showing of Nudist Paradise. Too cold anyway. The cinema was indeed the Playhouse at Gerrard's Cross at that time, now the Everyman.
