Understand former Westport manager and Davitts player Martin Connolly is returning to Davitts as a coach. Big coup for Stan Nyland's men who were very close to turning over Moy Davitts in the Intermediate semi final last year.

Some win for St.Colmans Built at the back, with Nathan Gill, Rio Mortimer and Mark Noonan all superb, while the two Eastern Gaels men Dara Flanagan and Tom Hession joint best on display. Goals win games

Madness Mark Noonan isn't on the u20 panel. Some operator and leader, drove Colman's on all day today and he isn't even 18 👍👍👍

Understand Liam McHale under pressure as Mayo Ladies manager. Been told the setup is amateurish and Liam McHale doesn't know names of some players he is playing.

Sad to see Kevin McStay go. A great mayo man, just didn't work out, and feel for him that he didn't get a chance to end it with him on the sideline.

1/3 Interesting odds Sources clash on James Horan, with one source describing him as the front runner with the county board and another declaring his criticism of the county board on the Irish examiner podcast did not go down well and has all but ruled him out of contention.

2/3 Austin O'Malley very impressive with Cuala, however lives in Dublin with a young family and managing his own company. Might not be the right time for him to get the job.

3/3 Andy Moran's record in Monaghan was outstanding but may be seen as a risky appointment, would be interesting to see will be go in as a coach on a ticket. Dempsey considered a non runner. McConville, Donaghy, McEntee, all intriguing options but unlikely.

At the same time, he isolated and froze out so many girls, he had some girls making match day panels who he didn't even know their names! Thanks for keeping them up Liam but your time was truly up

Andy Moran has made early changes to the Mayo panel: Eoghan McLaughlin, Eoin O’Donoghue & Kevin Quinn dropped. Colm Reape opts out for the year. Youth drafted in: Seamus Howard, John McMonagle, Niall Hurley, Hugh O’Loughlin, Darragh Beirne (still u20l) & Colm Lynch.
