Last night I watched the short version of the anti-Marcos film, A DANGEROUS LIFE, which I never finished seeing in its entirety in 1988. I found the plot too lame: "A US journalist's life and love in the time of FEM's final years."
EMIL JURADO wrote a scathing review circa 1988:
Here's a bit of history that the Filipino public weren't told about: #MaidInMalacañang isn't showing Carmelite nuns of Cebu playing mahjong with Cory – it was the Pink Sisters.
So bakit react guilty ang mga Carmelite? Cory was no longer in Cebu when the Marcoses left Malacañang.
7M VIEWS NA ANG #V5LegacyMegaTrailer IN JUST 5 DAYS ON ALL PLATFORMS?! 😱
Mukhang sobrang excited na kayo para sa #VoltesVLegacy, mga Kapuso! MEGA THANK YOU SA INYONG LAHAT!
It's so satisfying to see na mapahiya si Padre Salvi for accusing Simoun as a traitor, he sounds lunatic because he doesn't have a proof.
He sounds crazy talking about the "magic" book, no one will believe him. He is being gaslighted by Ibarra and I love it.
