My colleagues Rena Fox & Janet Chu MD MPH helped put in a FIB-4 calculator in our EHR. Within 2 weeks, I used it 3 times, identified 1 patient at high risk for cirrhosis and 1 who needs additional evaluations. All 3 have been my patients for a while. Insist on a FIB-4 calculator!
