In July 2004, Myriam Hemsi, widow of Alberto Hemsi, donated her husband’s archives to the Institut Européen des Musiques Juives. Hemsi was one of the first composers to collect music from the Sephardi Jews of the former Ottoman empire: bit.ly/IEMJHemsi
