Followed the old Glasgow to Aberfoyle railway today for just over 13 miles from from Kirkintilloch to Glengoyne Distillery. This incorporated the Strathkelvin Railway Path and parts of The John Muir Way and West Highland Way. Quite a decent walk.

A revisit trip to Portpatrick and the newly sighted start of The Southern Upland Way. Very dramatic and spine tingling though not enough to make me walk to Cockburnspath again!

A nice 10 mile morning walk on the coast walking part of the Transpenine Trail in Southport and a short visit to Blackpool in the late afternoon/evening.

A rather wet morning walk from Betws-Y-Coed on the Snowdonia Slate Trail to the spectacular Swallow Falls and back, then a bus ride to Llandudno to find it was bright and sunny less than 20 miles away - bizarre! Good to see Comrade richieveitch.bsky.social again.

Resuming my walk on the Wales Coast Path, having finished at Borth on the 27th Feb,I resumed there at lunchtime to walk the section to Aberystwyth. This was continual steep ups and downs and I was glad to walk down Constitution Hill into Aberystwyth to end the day.

A good walk on the Keswick to Threlkeld Rail Trail in the Lake District National Park today which last saw a train in 1972. The route weaves its way over the River Greta on some of the original Victorian railway bridges and some rebuilt following Storm Desmond in 2015.

Up in North Wales now for a few days and spent today visiting Llandudno,Blaenau Ffestiniog and Porthmadog after a very early start from Chester. Lots of snow in the hills and mountains but nothing at low level.

A lovely breezy sunny morning, ideal for a walk so got the boots on and went on what turned out to be an 8 mile route around Carnoustie taking in Westhaven,Craigmill Den, Panbride and the and reopened path to Muirdrum.
