Tomorrow we have the Madison County meet at Madison-Grant. The meet starts at 5pm. Please be at school at 3:15pm and the bus leaves at 3:30pm.

The Lady Arabian Track team had a really strong night winning the County meet for the 13th consecutive time. The girls won seven events and scored 193 points. Laney Ricker won two County titles in the 1600 and 3200. Kaitlyn Prickett won the 400. Maddie Heineman won the pole vault

The 4x800 team of Abby Davidson, Olivia Welpott, Jillian Jackson and Jaycee Thurman started the meet off with a win. The 4x100, Alivia Fox, Emma Weflen, Emma Konkle and Maddie Terrell were also County champs.

The 4x400 of Maddie Terrell, Bailey Pippin, Abby Fisher and Kaitlyn Prickett closed the County with another win.

Saturday we are at the Southport Relays. The meet starts at 9:00am. Please be at school by 6:45am and the bus leaves at 7:00am

Our next meet is Tuesday at home for the Pendleton Invite at 5:00pm. Athletes will need to be at the track by 4:00pm. Everyone is expected to to attend and help at the meet. This will also be senior night. Families will lineup by the gate to the track at approximately 6pm.

Tomorrow we have a home meet against New Castle. The meet starts at 5pm and athletes are expected at the track at 4pm.

Tomorrow we travel to compete in the Pike Invite. The meet starts at 6pm and the bus leaves at 4pm. Please be at the school by 3:45pm.

Tomorrow the girls are at home for the Sectional Meet. The meet starts at 5:15pm and athletes are expected to be at the track by 4:00pm.

The lady arabians had a good start for the outdoor season. We had multiple girls win their events. Some notable wins in field events were W. Warfel placed 1st in discus and 2nd in shot put, L. Jones placed 2nd in long jump, and I. Simons placed 1st in high jump.

We also had lady arabians win their races. K. Warfel got 1st in the 200 and 400 meter race, H. Walker got 1st in the 800m, J. Thurman who placed 1st in the 1600 and 3200m run. Our next meet is Wednesday at Fishers.

The lady Arabians had a good showing at Fisher on Wednesday. Kaycie Warfel placed 2nd in the 100m and 3rd in the 200m race. Jayciee Thurman also had a great night placing 2nd in the 1600m and 3rd in the 3200m. Whitney Warfel placed 1st in the shot.

The Lady Arabians had an amazing meet on Friday during the County meet at Madison Grant. The Arabians were again Madison County champions for the 15th straight year. Kaycie Warfel place 1st in the 100m 12.62 and 2nd in the 200m dash.

Jaycee Thurman placed 1st in both the 1600m 6:07 and 3200m run 13:18. Kaydance Mirante placed 2nd in pole vault. Whitney Warfel place 2nd in shot and discus. Hadley walker placed 2nd in the 800m

The girls 4x400m team of (Jarrell, Mirante, Fultz, Fisher) placed 2nd and starting off the night the 4x800m team of (Green, Walker, Jerrell, Thurman) placed 2nd. Our next meet is Saturday at Southport.

The Lady Arabian track team had two competitors in last night’s Ben Davis Regional. Whitney Warfel competed in shot put with a throw of 34’ 3” and competed well against some of the state’s best throwers.

Ava Jerrell also competed in last nights regional meet in the 800m run. Ava pulled into third place in the final 100m and was able to hold off the other competitors to get the last qualifying spot for the state finals in a time of 2:22.40.

Congratulations to both Ava and Whitney for representing the Lady Arabian Track Team so well at last nights regional. Special congratulations go out to Ava Jerrell on making it to the State Finals next Friday 6-3-22.
