I'm a big fan of the natural world. Whether it's the soil, water, air, or the wildlife that thrives within it, we are all so lucky to have earth as a home.

Anyone know this bird hunting for some local worms in soil mapped as Enders stoney loam, or perhaps just nibbling on some perennial rye seeds growing in a stand of buttercups? A fine day for soil sampling at the Moore Discovery Farm near Lincoln, AR. #SoilTesting #Wildlife #Birds

Group of soybean graduate students from around globe visit Marley Arkansas Discovery Farms. Many excellent questions/conversations about connections between #poultry and row-crops. Like, it takes > 4.5 and 3.5 million tons of #ARcorn and #ARsoy to grow 1 billion #AR broilers in 1 yr

This video shows some of #ARDiscoveryFarms' Lawrence Berry's (Lawrence Berry) grad research at the Morrow #Farm in NWA. When winter feeding hay, research shows unrolling bales offers benefits to both forage quality & quantity, as well as soil bulk density & water infiltration.

So many questions…Does lunar soil qualify as “soil” using an earthly definition? What should “lunar” soil be extracted? What yield goal should fertilizer recommendations be based on? What’s the price of potash on the moon? Was this a grid sample? #soil Soil Science Society of America
