Thrilled to participate in the #ASRH dissemination meeting at Lemigo Hotel, Kigali. As a youth-led NGO, Youths Empowerment Scholars Initiative Rwanda is dedicated to advancing adolescent sexual and reproductive health in Rwanda. We’re committed to ensuring accessible, CSE and services for all young people.
“Investing in capacity building & mentoring medical students to conduct research enhances their educational experience & contributes to advancement of medical science & public health” said World Health Organization (WHO)🇷🇼Rep Dr Dr Brian Chirombo at the WHO-supported MEDSAR RWANDA ASRH study dissemination.
WHO Rwanda, Rwanda Biomedical Centre & University of Rwanda jointly supported MEDSAR RWANDA students to conduct the adolescent sexual & reproductive health study, aimed at understanding the factors contributing to teen pregnancy and then use the findings to reduce the high teenage pregnancy in 🇷🇼.
The young health professionals are incredibly proud of the outstanding work WHO Rwanda is doing to empower and educate them under the leadership of Dr. Dr Brian Chirombo, particularly through research and capacity-building initiatives.
