Our yellow camera (Barkerhouse Rd, Nelson) detected SAME VEHICLE THREE TIMES travelling at 60mph, 53mph & 57mph. That will be an interesting one to explain in court. Top tip - roads with street lights close together is usually 30mph unless displayed otherwise! #SlowDown

Our SafeDrive StayAlive initiative is 5 years old today! It's changed a bit since then. In that time we've delivered to thousands of young people across Lancashire (and Manchester and Cumbria). Stay safe out there #SafeDriveLancs #ThrowbackThursday

New driver who has been caught speeding previously gets spotted speeding yet again but drives off and fails to stop for police fearing he may lose his licence of stopped. Speeding was the last of his issues when he provided a positive drugs test! #Fatal5 #SCcar7 #T2TacOps

Driver stopped due to not wearing a seatbelt. They appeared a little sheepish when providing licence details and turned out they were disqualified. They were disappointed when the car was seized as thought their partner could just pick it up later... #T2TacOps #OpMantaRay

Yesterday one of our Safety Camera Vans enfored the M6 when it detected a vehicle travelling at 128mph. The roads maybe quieter but this is unacceptable. Please think of the emergency services and the strain it would put on them in the event of a collision at these kind of speeds

Large vehicles often have HUGE areas where the driver cannot see clearly. The driver of this fire engine cannot see any of the people in our image. Road users should be aware of this and act safety - NEVER undertake. Thanks to @lancashirefrs for their help 🙂 #OperationClosePass
