✍️📢🏗️ "If engineering is to become regenerative, then it needs to be attracting holistic-thinking carers." The funding review system is broken. Found out recently that a project we submitted for review to Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council last September will not go to panel until this September. That is 1 year. Unacceptable. This is killing research in the UK.

📅🚀 On this day in 2018, Ruben Neves scored one of the best goals Molineux has ever seen. Wolves beat Derby County 2-0 with goals from Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves edged closer to promotion to the Premier League. #WWFC | #Wolves

Excellent Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council ‘The Future of Manufacturing’ event held in conjunction with Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) in the great steel city of Sheffield. Lots of great conversations and presentations on the manufacturing research landscape.

I took my 5 year old to the polling station this morning to show her the process of voting. We live in an original suffragette’s village (#Batheaston). Never forget the importance of voting and what people like the suffragettes went through to get that right. #Elections2024

It’s been less than a hundred years since women in Britain have had the right to vote. This Manchester banner was unfurled in 1903 - it would be 25 years before the suffragettes’ dream was finally realised. Make sure you use that hard-won right today!

My daughter came home from school today singing ‘Don’t stop’. A great moment to introduce her to one of my absolute favourite bands, #FleetwoodMac!

#fieldofdreams is by far the best tv program I have seen this year. Outstanding from Andrew Flintoff and Kyle Hogg. There is something about cricket that is so simple and beautiful. This is a joy to watch!
