🌱 Meet the next generation of #peatland protectors! Last week, we welcomed six new trainees as they kicked off their careers in peatland restoration. Over the next 52 weeks, they will gain hands-on experience, supported by accredited training and mentoring.

🌍 NI’s peatlands are in trouble. NI is the only part of the UK without a formal #peatland strategy. A draft was published in 2021, yet we still wait. 📢 We’re calling on the NI Executive to urgently ratify the strategy with these six key actions to unlock restoration at scale.
