Here's a pretty good plane tree soon to be felled for redevelopment in the Pearson Street Mall, Charlestown, NSW. Protestors put signs in it reminding people of the benefits trees provide. We now know how to value trees, isn't it time councils started to use that knowledge?

Here's an interesting one. Why are there no trees along this pavement? 🌳🌳 Because the entire pavement is lined with underground Victorian coal cellars with the coal shute in the pavement. Luckily there's a park over the road!! 🌳🌳🌳
