At #SMH2022? Stop by Sundance 6 (3rd floor) at 3:30 PM to hear about why the Reagan administration embraced and armed Jonas Savimbi.

Immensely proud of this project with Elliot Seckler over the last year. From a brainstorming phone call throwing around initial ideas to the finished product.

I think Jess Blankshain & I will read with interest new The Andrew W. Marshall Foundation (Elliot Seckler / Travis Z) piece on how U.S. org culture creates a reactive foreign policy; aligns with Derek Reveron concerns about an ossified national security process. andrewwmarshallfoundation.org/library/americ…

Listen in October 3! The issues addressed will hopefully give pause to the U.S. foreign policy community and engender discussions and debate about the current momentum of decisions and the direction of foreign policy making.

As suspected, deployment of E-6B TACAMO nuclear command, control and communication aircraft to Norway indicated forward operations with nuclear missile submarines. x.com/nukestrat/stat… What I didn't expect was one of them surfacing off Norway in a blunt signal to Russia. 👀
