Was Charlie Kirk killed for his politics or his faith? A fascinating look at how his death is sparking a Christian revival that makes some churchgoers and pastors uncomfortable. Story by Taylor Seely 🌵 via azcentral azcentral.com/story/news/loc…

Faith is one of the most vulnerable topics one can discuss, and I am deeply grateful to all my very brave sources in the story.

At a Pennsylvania church, a pastor recently preached with an AR-15-style rifle strapped to his chest. Journalist William J. Kole says it’s a symptom of a deeper trend: white evangelicals’ merging of faith, politics … and firearms. religionnews.com/2025/10/16/in-…

Had a little potluck at my daughter’s preschool tonight. Theme was cultural & I didn’t have time to make anything. It was b/w Costco pizza or not going: I opted for pizza, feeling a bit embarrassed. It was devoured! Point being: Go to the potluck, do your best, forget the rest.

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell is seeking to overturn Arizona’s anti-SLAPP law, which protects people from baseless litigation meant to shut down public participation. The law has been used in low- and high-profile cases. azcentral.com/story/news/loc…

UPDATE: AZ Attorney General Kris Mayes filed a brief SUPPORTING Mitchell's review request. Her office says Mayes' concern is only the fact AZ's anti-SLAPP applies to criminal cases. (Makes sense given law thwarted her case against fake electors). Still: This review opens door to complete overturn.

Arizona attorneys: I want to hear from you about significant anti-SLAPP cases in AZ beyond Kari Lake and fake electors. High-profile folks are fine, but I'm curious about the everyday people this law has been invoked by, too. Email: [email protected]. (Signal # in bio)

Reactions roll in to the news that Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell is challenging the constitutionality of a law meant to safeguard the public’s First Amendment rights against malicious lawsuits.

Watch the video for yourself, read the story and let me know what you think of the shift: Is it inappropriate or acceptable? Does it show religious liberties eroding via gov’t favoring one faith, or is it a reflection of religious freedom fortified?
