With these 4 wonderful species now gracing our skies, here is a helpful poster we made with Local Authority Waters Programme to help you identify #Swifts, #Swallows and #Martins who are often confused! You might see all 4 in todays glorious sunshine โ˜€๏ธโ˜€๏ธโ˜€๏ธ BirdsMatter_ie bird Biodiversity Ireland

#Swifts reported in Dorset and Bristol and today's Trektellen.org map shows how close they are getting to us in #Lewes! Meanwhile our evening walks have yet to turn into Swift surveys - all we have been able to record is the weather!

Two Swift nest boxes have gone up today here in east Ipswich. The householder will play Swift calls from an upstairs external window sill using a simple iPod+Bluetooth speaker arrangement. #SaveOurSuffolkSwifts

Very pleased to see my first two SWIFTS of the year over Long Melford this evening; despite the recent cold weather, these are still two days earlier than my previous ten-year average for the village. #localpatch #suffolk
