LAWPRO and the Farming for Water European Innovation Partnership (EIP) is attending the launch today of the Farming for Water: River Slaney Project which is being promoted by Tirlán. The launch takes place in the Riverside Hotel in Enniscorthy.

Back to #Ireland tomorrow afternoon after a busy but inspiring week. From ideas of CS university hubs via Geo Citizen Science or awesome stream monitoring findings from FLOW or ways to standardise Freshwater CS much needed with OTTERS Project. Too much to mention from #ecsa2024 !

Bright & breezy today with spells of sunshine & scattered showers frequent at times in the north east & midlands. Temperatures 8-12 degrees. Mainly dry at first tonight, but rain & drizzle will develop in the southwest early & will extend to most areas becoming heavy at times.

The Minister for Agriculture has paused non-essential farm inspections as farmers struggle with challenging weather, reports the Farmers Journal. Farmers have been forced to leave cattle in sheds due to heavy rain, and fodder stocks are running very low.
