There's now 5 FSVs across the South West Police Forensics forces, providing much needed welfare facilities for our CSIs. They all have an office, kitchen with microwave, kettle and fridge, toilet, WiFi, heating and a touchscreen TV monitor. We've seen our van design pop up elsewhere too! 👀🚐

The A420 was closed between West Street and the Lawrence Hill roundabout to allow crime scene investigators to examine the scene but has since reopened overnight. A cordon remains in place in Rawnsley Park.

Yesterday, we gathered the CSI teams in Dorset for a CPD event. The day was full of lots of interesting and useful inputs. The team tested different methods of recovering footwear impressions in sand, wet and dry, which was a challenge but had some great results!
